When turning on your Doc Cam and if you get a black screen with a message to Ensure that a SMART Document camera is connected and isnt in use in another application, then you need to do smart Notebook updates.
To do this, go into your Smart Notbook program and go to Help tab, then Check for Updates and Activation. Do all updates. This takes time please do not shut down computer in the middle of this update.
